About the Opportunity

A well-established plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join its team. The firm is dedicated to advocating for injured individuals and their families and is looking for a motivated, organized professional who is passionate about client service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years of personal injury experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from initial intake through settlement.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the claims process.
• Coordinate medical treatment follow-ups and communicate with medical providers regarding records and billing.
• Request, collect, and organize medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, clients, and other relevant parties.
• Track case progress, outstanding documentation, and important deadlines.
• Assist attorneys with settlement demand preparation and case development.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files and client records.
• Follow up on outstanding records, bills, authorizations, and other case-related materials.
• Provide compassionate, professional service to clients navigating the aftermath of an injury.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or in a similar role within a personal injury law firm.
• Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records, medical billing, insurance claims, and settlement documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• A professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach.
