Plant Administrative & HR Clerk

Location: Little Rock, AR 72206
Pay Rate: $22/hr W2
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–2:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Administrative & HR Clerk to provide administrative, HR, payroll, data entry, and purchasing support within a manufacturing plant. This role will assist Plant Management and support hourly employees with HR and payroll-related activities, invoice processing, inventory management, and SAP transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and HR support to Plant Management and hourly employees.
  • Perform data entry, maintain records, and manage daily office processes.
  • Support HR and payroll activities, including timekeeping.
  • Sort incoming mail and manage office supplies inventory.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings, special events, and housekeeping requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly safety, production, and sales reports.
  • Process purchasing, invoice receiving, MRO, and raw material transactions using SAP and IOL.
  • Assist with raw material management and inventory-related activities.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting support for Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3–5 years of practical data entry or administrative operations experience.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise software; knowledge of IOL is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and computer applications.
  • Strong organizational, quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to work approximately 32 hours per week in a manufacturing plant.
  • May require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, twist, grip, climb stairs and ladders, and navigate rough terrain.
  • The plant is not temperature controlled and may have dust, fumes, and high-noise areas exceeding 80 dB.
  • Work may involve exposure to manufacturing materials, including sand, fiberglass, asphalt coating, crushed rock, and polypropylene.
  • Must be comfortable working around moving industrial equipment, including forklifts and other plant machinery.
