We are seeking a talented and analytical Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team at SKIMS. The Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning processes. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for fashion and retail.
• Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze sell-through data, and identify potential overstock or understock situations. Develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
• Production Planning: Work closely with production teams to ensure production schedules align with demand forecasts and inventory targets. Coordinate and communicate any changes or adjustments as needed.
• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights, identify opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance supply chain efficiency and product availability.
• Reporting: Create regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, inventory, and demand forecasting. Present findings to leadership teams.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Design, and Production, to align planning efforts with business goals and initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning and forecasting accuracy. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certification (APICS) is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and forecasting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Compensation:
• $75,000 - $85,000 per year
