The Integrated Care Center Clinic is a federally qualified health centers that provide primary care, behavioral health, addiction treatment, psychiatry, dental care, and more. We provide care to those most in need including those who are suffering from homelessness, mental illness, substance use, mental illness, and chronic medical conditions. We provide team based care in an integrated care setting. The Addiction Provider (MD) is responsible for the management of withdrawal, the initiation, maintenance, and support of Medically Assisted Treatment of alcohol and drug use disorders for HealthRIGHT 360 clients. The Addiction provider is responsible for taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, using screening tools, ordering, and interpreting laboratory tests, and diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Intake Department to assess safe entry into our detox and residential treatment programs for patients with substance use disorders. Addiction Providers may be located within HealthRIGHT 360's residential recovery programs, detox programs, or community health centers to provide direct patient care.
The Addiction Provider may also provide supervision and oversight for Advanced Practice Providers in Collaborative Agreements, providing supervision and having input in the clinical review, performance appraisal, peer review and hiring and termination of such staff. The Addiction Provider also supervises the MAT healthcare treatment team in the absence of the Director of Addiction Medicine, which includes: managing Medical Assistant functions, and Registered Nurse functions. The position may require work during the night and on weekends.
