Job SummaryWe are seeking a
Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team! As a Physician Assistant, you will be assisting in the Operating Room, and examining pre and post op surgical patients. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience in a medical and surgical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Two years of experience in the OR preferred.Current NYS Physician Assistant License required along with at least 1 year of clinical rotation in various medical, surgical and other specialty areas.

Responsibilities - Writing orders for medications
- Reviewing lab results
- Providing post-discharge instructions
- Initiating and documenting patient plan of care
- Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
Qualifications- Valid state licensing required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with medical terminology and charting,
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
