Physician Assistant (PA), Surgery, General (days) in Oregon

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in General Surgery to join our team in Oregon. This position offers day-shift hours to support our surgical team in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations
• Manage patient care plans and provide patient education
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in rounds and patient consultations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current Oregon state PA license
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Prior experience in General Surgery preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
