  • Shift: Full-time, including inpatient rounding, surgical consults, ER call, and 1 clinic day/week

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • License/Certifications: State licensure as PA or Nurse Practitioner; ACLS/BLS preferred
  • Experience: Prior surgical or critical care experience preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay rate: $1.00/hour (discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide inpatient rounding and surgical consults for cardiovascular procedures
  • Support emergency room call coverage
  • Assist in coordinating patient care during post-operative recovery
  • Participate in approximately 90 surgeries/procedures per month, including CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and aortic valve replacements
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons and advanced practice providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

What You Need:
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in surgical, critical care, or emergency settings preferred
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume surgical environment
