Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join a well-established clinic located in Brooklyn, NY. Work Schedule: Full-time position with a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State Physician Assistant License.
Certification: Must be Board-certified.
Experience: Must have experience in Neurology.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. Experience with Allscripts/Veradigm systems is required.
Language: Bilingual English/Russian or bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care, including conducting health assessments, taking medical histories, and performing physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing individualized treatment plans under physician supervision.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests and imaging.
Prescribe medications and other treatments within the scope of practice and state regulations.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment adherence.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
