Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will help carry out individualized treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises and mobility activities, monitor progress, and support participants in reaching meaningful functional goals. Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or documented proof of eligibility for licensure.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
  • Clinical knowledge necessary to provide physical therapy services to frail, elderly participants with complex healthcare needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations.
  • Experience providing rehabilitation services to frail older adults or individuals with complex medical needs.
  • Experience with therapeutic exercise, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation.
  • Experience supporting fall prevention, strengthening, and independence-focused treatment programs.
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary approaches to geriatric rehabilitation.
