PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a rewarding contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. SHIFT DETAILS
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Meal Break: 30 Minutes
- Day Shift
- Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home therapy programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
- Adhere to all regulatory, professional, and facility standards

- Guaranteed 35 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
