    Miami Valley Hospital

    Physical Therapist

    • Full-Time (1 weekend per Month, required) - Acute care with emphasis on Joint & Spine surgeries (some ICU & Neuro)
    • Potential Option for No weekends with Mid-day hours

    Join our dynamic team at a Level One Trauma Center, where the Physical Therapist plays a pivotal leadership role within interdisciplinary patient care teams.

    This position involves assessing patient care needs, collaboratively developing tailored care plans and goals with patients, and implementing a diverse range of treatment techniques within the scope of practice. You will provide education and support to patients and their families while facilitating ongoing care planning.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address patient care needs.
    • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
    • Educate patients and families on treatment processes and self-care strategies.
    • Participate in staff management and cost management initiatives.
    • Contribute to professional practice activities and enhance departmental effectiveness.
    • Uphold high standards of customer service.

    Education Requirement: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    • Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Ohio.
    • Current BLS certification required at the time of hire.

    Experience:

    • Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related experience necessary - New grads welcomed!
    • Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant job experience.
