    Job Summary:
    The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the company to patients seeking routine care or important health insights. This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform venipuncture and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
    • Conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties
    • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm accurate labeling
    • Maintain required records and documentation
    • Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment
    • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public
    • Work under the direction of the area supervisor to complete daily activities accurately and on time
    • Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence with strong sensitivity to confidentiality and patient information accuracy
    • May be assigned to doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs
    Required Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
    • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Must be flexible for weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and travel to multiple locations
    • Must demonstrate superior customer focus and effective communication skills
    • Keyboard/data entry experience
    • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record if applicable
    • Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment
    Nice-to-Have Experience:
    • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
    • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
    • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
    • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred
