    A growing litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Personal injury, property damage, and tort-based claims Attorney with 3–8 years of experience to join its expanding practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing a meaningful caseload, thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, and is looking for a collaborative team with long-term growth potential.

    The position will begin fully in-office during the first month to support onboarding, training, and integration with the litigation team. Following the onboarding period, the role transitions into a hybrid schedule.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a caseload of approximately 20–30 general liability defense matters

    • Handle all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution

    • Defend clients in general liability and civil litigation matters, including premises liability, personal injury, and related disputes

    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents

    • Conduct legal research and prepare strategic case evaluations

    • Take and defend depositions

    • Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and settlement conferences

    • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and claims representatives

    • Collaborate with partners and support staff to develop litigation strategy

    Qualifications

    • 3–8 years of general liability defense litigation experience preferred

    • Strong civil litigation background with experience managing cases independently

    • Active membership in the California State Bar

    • Strong writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

    • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    • Experience working with insurance carriers and claims professionals is a plus

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, depending on experience

    • Hybrid work flexibility after initial onboarding period
