This position is for an Instructional Support Staff/Personal Care Assistant in Special Education at Billy Lane Lauffer Middle School, starting 07/28/2026.
Under close supervision, the role involves assisting teachers with instructional activities and supporting daily living skills for students with special needs. Responsibilities include behavioral support, personal care (e.g., toileting, hygiene), mobility assistance, and helping with related therapy services.
Additional duties encompass preparing classroom materials, monitoring student behavior, aiding in occupational and physical therapy, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid fingerprint clearance, CPR certification, and experience working with children and students with special needs. Bilingual fluency may be required.
