Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location: Chantilly, VA 20152

Duration: 36 Weeks
Shift: Day | 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $20–$23.50/hr

Job Description:
Provide individualized support to students throughout the school day, including personal care, mobility assistance, classroom support, behavior management, and student safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with toileting, hygiene, dressing, and feeding as needed.

• Support student mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.

• Reinforce classroom instruction under teacher supervision.

• Assist with behavior management and student engagement.

• Monitor student safety during classroom, lunch, recess, and activities.

• Maintain accurate daily care and progress documentation.

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, nurses, and school staff.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous PCA, Paraprofessional, Caregiver, or Special Education Aide experience preferred.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to assist students with personal care and mobility needs.
