What You’ll Do
- Provide expert neonatal care within a Level-IIIB NICU and other neonatal units.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care teams supporting high-risk newborns, including ventilator management.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and staff education to enhance neonatal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to deliver family-centered care solutions.
- Support and educate NICU families, including participation in programs like NICU Family Support.
- Utilize advanced neonatal equipment and technology such as Angel Eye for family viewing.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and mentorship, especially for new graduates.
What You Need
Required:- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Active Missouri RN and NNP licensure or eligibility
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
- Ability to work effectively within a team and support families during high-stress situations
Preferred:- Experience in a Level III NICU setting
- Familiarity with family-centered care programs and family support initiatives
- Commitment to professional growth and quality improvement
