PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant – Financials (GL/AP/AM)

Lead and support end-to-end PeopleSoft Financials implementation and conversion activities with emphasis on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Asset Management (AM) modules. Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft solutions using Application Designer, Data Mover, PeopleCode, SQR, and related PeopleTools technologies.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant – Financials (GL/AP/AM) for their Blaine, MN/Remote/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end PeopleSoft Financials implementation and conversion activities with emphasis on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Asset Management (AM) modules.
• Analyze business and accounting requirements and translate them into technical designs, conversion specifications, and development solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft solutions using Application Designer, Data Mover, PeopleCode, SQR, and related PeopleTools technologies.
• Perform data conversion, migration, validation, and reconciliation activities to support new implementations and system enhancements.
• Develop and support integrations utilizing Oracle SQL, IBM Mainframe JCL, COBOL, Linux scripting, and Python where appropriate.
• Create and execute testing strategies, including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues across the PeopleSoft Financials landscape.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and client partners to ensure successful delivery of implementation and conversion initiatives.
• Support reporting, analysis, and audit activities through SQL queries, data validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, conversion specifications, process flows, and support procedures.
• Utilize ServiceNow and other enterprise tools to manage project activities, incidents, enhancements, and support requests.

 
Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience supporting and implementing PeopleSoft Financials solutions.
• Strong expertise in:
• PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL)
• PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP)
• PeopleSoft Asset Management (AM)
• Hands-on experience with:
• PeopleTools
• Application Designer
• Data Mover
• PeopleCode
• SQR Development
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data structures, including conversion and reconciliation requirements.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases and complex data analysis activities.
• Proven ability to support large-scale implementation and conversion projects.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within banking, client, or Integrated Banking Solutions (IBS) environments.
• Experience with:
