PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant

This PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant role within a global organization focuses on functional analysis and PeopleSoft FSCM to optimize financial and supply chain processes.

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant for their Jersey City, NJ/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• This PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant role within a global organization focuses on functional analysis and PeopleSoft FSCM to optimize financial and supply chain processes. The role partners with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and business decision-making. The position requires strong techno-functional expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM applications and the ability to work across rotational shifts while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. Supported by the HM JD emphasizing techno-functional consulting, FSCM modules, requirements gathering, and business process analysis.
• Work as a hands-on Independent Contributor (IC).
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and prepare functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend effective solutions.
• Coordinate development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft-related issues to ensure business system accuracy and reliability.
• Support quality assurance activities, including test script creation and test execution.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to meet business objectives and user expectations.
• Support PeopleSoft FSCM business processes across Financials and Supply Chain modules.

 
Requirements:

• 7+ years of techno-functional experience as a PeopleSoft consultant or analyst.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and SQR.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 8.x/9.x, including GL, AP, PO, AM, TE, Project Costing, and AR.
• Experience with managed services engagements.
• Strong understanding of finance functional processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and PS Queries.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies in maintenance and implementation environments.
• Experience creating functional specifications, performing fit-gap analysis, and documenting business requirements.
