The City of Greensboro Water Resources Department is seeking a self-motivated, organized, and highly dependable People and Culture Business Partner to provide comprehensive human resources support to employees and supervisors. This position serves as a trusted resource within Water Resources, helping ensure employees receive timely support while department practices remain aligned with City policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $53,903.00 - $61,603.00 Full Salary Range: $46,818.00 - $83,780.00 Annually

About Water Resources:
The Water Resources Department provides essential water and wastewater services that protect public health, support the community, and maintain Greensboro's critical infrastructure. The People and Culture team supports the department by helping leaders and employees navigate workplace policies, employee programs, staffing processes, and other important employment-related needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree
"OR" a High School diploma "and" 5+ years of Human Resources, Benefits, and/or Administrative-related experience
NC Notary (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
1+ years of Human Resources, Administrative Support, Benefits administration, and/or related experience (i.e., Background verification, E-verify/ I-9, New Hires/Onboarding, etc.)
1+ years of experience working in a high-volume customer service environment
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Driver's License
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
Experience working with the Workforce Management (WFM) timekeeping system
Advanced computer skills with an HRIS system such as GHR
