Job Overview:
FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with experience in multi-state payroll processing, compliance, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Handle payroll reporting, tax filings, and audits
- Oversee payroll software systems and upgrades
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams for payroll strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Knowledge of ADP, Workday, or similar payroll systems
- Strong understanding of wage laws and tax regulations
- CPP certification preferred
