Key Responsibilities



  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including wages, deductions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and employee personnel changes.

  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Reconcile payroll each cycle and partner with Accounting on general ledger entries, reporting, and audits.

  • Manage payroll-related onboarding, terminations, and employee maintenance within HRIS and payroll systems.

  • Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and payroll tax reporting.

  • Administer employee benefit programs and serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits-related questions.


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience.

  • Experience with benefits administration, payroll taxes, garnishments, or multi-state payroll preferred.

  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
