We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our Payroll team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with ADP Vantage.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing payroll processes with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time
• 
  
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
• 
  
• Review payroll transactions, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings
• 
  
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
• 
  
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• 
  
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to support payroll-related activities
• 
  
• Support payroll system updates, testing, and process improvements
• 
  

Required Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist

• 
  
• Previous payroll processing experience
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with ADP Vantage is required
• 
  
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
• 
  
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• 
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• 
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification
• 
  
• Experience processing payroll for large or multi-state employee populations

• Experience working in manufacturing or corporate environments
