PSR Phone Operator – WellMed

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking a PSR Phone Operator to join the WellMed/UHG team! This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys helping patients and keeping clinic operations running smoothly.

As a PSR Phone Operator, you’ll be an important first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional support while ensuring calls are handled efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Answer and assist with incoming patient calls

• Schedule appointments and provide basic assistance with patient questions

• Take and accurately relay messages to providers and clinic staff

• Direct calls to the appropriate department or team member

• Help maintain efficient call flow and a positive patient experience

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of healthcare experience

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Professional, patient-focused approach

• Ability to manage multiple calls and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  Dress Code: Khaki, blue, or black slacks with blue, gray, or black tops/scrubs

  No license or certification required.
