Job Description

Hillcrest is currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team of professionals. This position will provide clerical and project support to the Youth Services Bureau management and staff. The role is scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with flexible hours available (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.). This position offers a starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Answer and route incoming calls.
  • Transcribe letters, memos, and reports: compose routine and non-routine correspondence; type material into final form and distribute.
  • Review incoming mail, route for disposition.
  • Coordinate administrative service projects as directed by Administrative Services Manager or administration.
  • Set up appointments and conduct drug screens in house, maintain communication with Police Department, Sheriff's Department, and Juvenile Court/Probation Officers.
  • Make follow-up phone calls for outpatient programs and Healthy Families.
  • Collect client payments and maintain receipt book.
  • Maintain agency calendars.
  • Maintain highest standard of confidentiality in working with sensitive information.
  • Enter information into required databases.
  • Enter required information into MIX for all new clients.
  • Maintain appropriate trainings.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. College degree preferred; coursework in Business and/or Accounting required
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in administrative roles
  3. Strong computer skills preferred, including basic troubleshooting abilities
