Paralegal – Workers Compensation (109)

Rapidly growing Florida Workers Compensation and personal Injury law firm is seeking a highly capable and motivated paralegal, who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in workers compensation. Applicants must be able to multi-task, possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and must be able to exist in a fast-paced work environment.  This position is onsite Monday- Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various legal, administrative and clerical tasks to support the firm’s services. Duties Include:

• Drafting discovery requests and responses and managing discovery deadlines.
• Preparing medical record composites and summaries
• Preparing and organizing exhibits for trials and depositions and completing pre-trials.
• Review and draft routine legal documents and e-file documents.
• Preparing settlement documents

Job Requirements:

• Must have 3 years of paralegal experience in the field of Workers' Compensation Law
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred
• Must have outstanding organizational skills
• Must be a self-starter, proactive and resourceful
• Must have excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills
• Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic
