We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support attorneys with case management, document preparation, and legal research. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities efficiently, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms
- Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Coordinate and track discovery, including document production and responses
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other litigation support materials
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Clio, NetDocs, iManage)
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Litigation support experience
- Experience with e-filing in state and/or federal courts
- Familiarity with case management systems
