Job Overview:
Pay Range: $30.27hr - $35.27hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 5-8 years of experience in a legal administrative or assistant role.
- Previous experience supporting litigation is required.
- Strong understanding of formatting legal documents.
- Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with iManage Repository is preferred.
- Regulatory experience, specifically within a utility company legal department, is preferred.
- Experience with personal injury litigation is acceptable if regulatory experience is not present.
- High school diploma is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the department and legal staff.
- Perform word processing, filing, faxing, and answering phones.
- Receive and direct visitors and coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Maintain financial records and obtain office supplies.
- Sort and distribute mail and work on special projects as assigned.
- Support litigation paralegals with scheduling meetings.
- Assist paralegals in writing interrogatories and drafting boiler plate templates.
- Assist with the preparation and management of legal documents.
- Ensure filings are completed by the daily deadline of 5 PM PST.
