IDR is seeking a Help Desk Technican to join one of our top clients in Nashville for an overnight opportunity. This role involves providing frontline support to ensure seamless technical assistance across various departments and users. Youll be part of a dedicated IT support team that plays a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
Position Overview for the Help Desk Technican :
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and service portal for end-users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, account, access, connectivity, printer, and application issues.
- Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the service management system.
- Take ownership of incidents and service requests, escalating as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and team collaboration to improve Help Desk operations.
Requirements for the Help Desk Technican :
- Curiosity about technology and a desire to learn.
- Enjoys solving problems and diagnosing technical issues.
- Ability to research unfamiliar issues using available resources.
- Willingness to accept coaching, feedback, and continuously improve.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
