    Overview:

    Sentara is currently hiring an Orthopedic Technician to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach on Surgery Unit 5B. One year of acute patient care experience preferred.

    Hours/Shift:

    Full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

    Department/Position Overview: 

    Join us to see what great teamwork all is about!  Our busy 24 bed unit treats patients that are recovering from surgery including general, GYN, colorectal, urology, plastics, vascular and neuro spine.  We are focused on getting our patients up and moving.  Our patient customer service scores and the longevity of our staff prove this is a great place to work.  Apply today!

    Under direct supervision of clinical staff and therapists, responsible for preparing/cleaning treatment areas, positioning patients, procurement and inventory of supplies and transporting patients. Supporting both clerical and clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans
     

    Education
    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Experience
    One year of prior health care experience preferred.

    One year of prior patient care experience preferred. 

    One yar of prior acute care experience preferred.
