We are a fast pace oral surgical practice looking for an experienced administrative employee for its Amesbury and surrounding locations. An ideal candidate should have experience and knowledge of dental/oral surgery/medical insurance. We are looking for a team player that can adapt and flourish within a fast-+paced schedule and stressful and demanding situations. Experience working at the front desk and scheduling appointments is considered a plus. Initial employment will be in our Amesbury location but the position would require scheduling flexibility between other offices.

• Prepares patient financial action plans, coordinates patient financial arrangements according to the financial policy.
• Maintains appropriate financial documentation, including signed financial agreements if financing treatment.
• Arranges the patient’s treatment-planning schedule and books appointments according to treatment plan.
• Monitors payments to ensure treatment financing is followed through appropriately. 
• Post daily procedures, with proper diagnosis according to billing guidelines. 
• Estimates costs of treatment provided based on insurance information given from insurance secretary. 
• Record all patient payments received in office and via mail. 
• Assist patients with questions pertaining to insurance coverage and billing.
• Print referral letters and claims that cannot be sent electronically.
• Prepare pretreatment estimates and submit to insurance carriers.
