Job Title: Operator I
Location : St. Paul MN
Shift Timing: 7AM to 3:30pm

Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and manufacturing processes. Work with small components and use a microscope for approximately 50%–90% of the workday depending on line assignment. Follow established procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine assembly and manufacturing operations according to written procedures and work instructions.
• Use a microscope for extended periods to perform assembly and/or inspection activities.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
• Maintain accurate traveler, production, and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
• Troubleshoot routine production issues and communicate problems and solutions to management.
• Follow safety procedures and utilize required PPE and safety equipment.
• Perform routine/preventive maintenance on applicable equipment and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Support Lean Manufacturing activities and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support QMS, EMS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize work based on job sequencing and production requirements.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing management and team members.
• Work effectively in a self-managed team environment.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude with internal and external customers.
• Support company policies, procedures, and manufacturing initiatives.
• Work overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as required by business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
• Ability to handle small components with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and sequence multiple tasks.
• Ability to make routine decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use a microscope for 50%–90% of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in medical device, regulated manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar environment.
• Medical device, cleanroom, or precision assembly experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, QMS, or EMS is a plus.
