Summary:

The Operations Specialist is an entry-level, developmental role designed to support both administrative and operational functions across the Physician Enterprise, providing operational support for the Vice President Patient Care Services, Vice President Operations and Vice President of Medical Affairs. This position provides hands-on exposure to clinic workflows, scheduling, staffing, operational initiatives, and performance metrics while supporting leadership with essential coordination tasks. This role is structured to build operational knowledge and prepare individuals for advancement into Office Manager or Practice Administrator roles.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

EXPERIENCE

  • 0-3 years of relevant operations experience preferred
  • Healthcare Experience strongly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Ability to work as a member of Physician Enterprise in support of CH initiatives
  • Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency with time sensitive assignments
  • High resilience and tolerance of ambiguity and resistance to stress
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think logically and adapt to changing scenarios in the prioritization of work
  • Ability to relate to customers at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database
  • Uses independent judgment in completing work and operates under general supervision

  • Proficiency in recording and producing meeting minutes, business correspondence and other related documents
  • Ability to work in a confidential and professional environment
  • Strong organizational and follow through skills

  • Must possess good organizational skills and exercise tact and diplomacy in frequent dealings with departments/physicians within the hospital and with outside agencies
