Job Summary

The Operations Specialist leads and coordinates the property transfer process to include lifecycle management of DD1149s and, under direct supervision, assists with various Property Management Outcomes, including but not limited to Acquisition, Receipt, Records, Physical Inventory, Subcontractor Control, Reports, Relief of Stewardship, Utilization, Maintenance, and Property Closeout.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Update official records to reflect Inventory, Movement, and Relief of Stewardship through shipment, transfer, loss, and disposal through objective evidence obtained from incoming and outgoing shipping documentation, authorized transfer documents (DD1149s, contract mods, etc.), excess property reports, etc.

  • Support internal and external property audits.

  • Inspect products for quality and quantity prior to transfer and issuance to ensure accuracy to Records.

  • Work to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction.

  • Support Annual Wall-to-Wall inventory

  • Create DD1149s and verify assets to record to be transferred for accountability.

  • Knowledge of screening DD1149s and provide guidance to program planning.

  • Knowledge of utilizing SAP to ensure shipper information.

  • Ability to maintain repository for DD1149s and voucher log, for Space and Defense.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED AND 3 years of work experience is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge of SAP and associated transaction codes

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or 5 years of direct experience

  • Experience with SAP and Material Movement Transactions.

  • Experience with eQuip database tracking system.
