YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Successfully coordinate and manage all day-to-day operations of the plant including production and production support.
Manages all drivers and dispatching using the most efficient means practical while meeting customer expectations supporting the branch's commercial goals and minimizing liability to the company.
Ensure that all work is accurate and completed on time.
Works with District Operations Manager to ensure compliance to applicable company policies and government regulations. This may include accident/incident investigations, hiring and termination decisions, and environmental, health, safety and quality issues.
Identifies and resolves delivery problems and helps to ensure smooth movement of goods.
Maintains a satisfactory knowledge of legislative and regulatory programs that affect operations.
Ensure adherence and compliance to Brenntag Pacific safety program.
Coordinates with Commercial and Operations Management to service customers in the safest most efficient manner possible.
Represent Brenntag Pacific in a professional manner.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Ability to read, write and speak the English Language.
Possess a thorough understanding of the chemical distribution business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interface with all levels of management and personnel in a professional manner. This includes outside customers, all levels of regulatory authorities, agency enforcement/inspectors, and auditors.
Possess thorough working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Occasional to moderate travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and a minimum of 5 years
related work experience; or a combination of education and experience.
