Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)

Summary:

The main function of an operations manager is ensuring that the different departments in the company follow through with the plans and devises he/she makes for the business's success.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and maintain vendor management policies and procedures to optimize vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure that the standard procedures are followed and that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations.
• Monitor and coordinate vendor performance reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure KPIS (key performance indicators) are maintained.
• Analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and support the vendor selection process, including the development of RFPs (request for proposals), bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Direct the activities of the various departments in the company and is concerned with pricing, sales, production and distribution of the companies products.
• Responsible for managing the employees, creating their work schedules and distributing their duties.
• Determine employment requirements as well as interviews and hires prospective employees.
• An operations manager may also trains the newly hired employees.
• Manage all the activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers.
• Responsible for managing the performance of the employees such as sales promotions, coordinating with different division leads, planning the layout and design of the store, and setting the prices and credit terms, as well as identifies goods and services to be sold.
• Supervise the remodeling of current the amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations.
• Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years of directly related experience is required.
• Vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management or Six Sigma are a plus.
• Experienced in contract negotiation, outsourcing strategies, onboarding and vendor performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, influence stakeholder, and collaborate internally and externally and across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point) and experienced with vendor management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
