A leading private capital services organization is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its expanding fund administration team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex private equity fund operations, support premier investment sponsors, and lead teams responsible for critical accounting and reporting functions across the full fund lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring deep private equity fund accounting expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Job Details

Partner closely with Directors and Managing Directors to oversee daily fund operations
Independently manage accounting and operational activities for private equity funds
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients with limited oversight
Analyze Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and governing documents to summarize key economics and fund structures
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Oversee preparation and review of capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRR calculations, and related deliverables
Review and approve fund deliverables prior to senior leadership review
Perform complex analyses of financial reporting, capital events, and private equity transactions
Support onboarding and setup of new client fund structures
Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Ensure delivery of high-quality client service and regulatory compliance
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on fund reporting matters
