    Description

    This position is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of a clinical department. The Operations Manager is tasked with the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of all support staff to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.

    Essential Functions

    • Organizes, plans, audits, and oversees all department utilization and organization activities including schedule management, recommending, and implementing strategies to increase utilization and reduce appointment no shows and ensuring operational efficiencies are implemented.
    • Responsible for financial related activity including monitoring and adhering to the clinical department budget.
    • Manages workflow, performance, and overall clinical department operations achieving expert care, superb service, and maximum physician/staff productivity.
    • Manages and oversees the day-to-day functions of the clinical department, delegates responsibilities and manages Clinic operations.
    • Interviews, hires, onboards, and trains employees.
    • Coaches, counsels, and develops employees.
    • Maintains on-call and provides appointment schedules in the computer system.
    • Handles patient complaints and prepares incident reports for leadership team review.
    • Assesses and provides coordination for space needs and work orders within the clinical department.
    • Supports and coordinates provider and support staff onboarding.
    • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Position Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field with three (3) years of healthcare leadership experience or,
    • Registered Nurse (RN) Degree with three (3) years of healthcare leadership experience, or
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent to five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience.
