Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to guide their production and material handling teams towards excellence. In collaboration with the Production Manager, you'll ensure seamless daily operations, foster a positive work culture, and drive initiatives that align with the company’s values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team to achieve daily goals supporting on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Build trust, collaboration, and accountability to meet shared objectives.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in production.
- Identify opportunities for safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate daily production and material flow to meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Provide direction and coaching to production associates and material handlers.
- Adjust work plans based on changing priorities and production issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production documentation and records.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees and reinforce standard work practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment with increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of fostering a positive work environment and driving employee growth.
- Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer and technology skills.
Position Type & Expected Hours
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed.
- Typical schedule begins at 5:45 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Overtime may include extended weekdays or rare Saturday hours.
