Maintain a strong sense of urgency around referrals, admissions, and start-of-care timelines.
Partner with business development and referral sources to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
Monitor the referral pipeline and address barriers that could delay patient care.
Develop trusted relationships with patients, families, caregivers, referral partners, and community partners.
Support patient introductions and periodic home visits when needed.
Follow up on satisfaction surveys and identify opportunities to improve the patient and caregiver experience.
Serve as an advocate and trusted leader for your branch team.

Review financial statements and operational reports to identify trends and opportunities.
Identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce unnecessary costs, and strengthen branch performance.
Oversee caregiver staffing and ensure service delivery expectations are consistently met.
Ensure the branch operates in accordance with company policies, payor requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Promote a culture centered on accountability, compliance, service excellence, and quality patient care.
Associate degree or equivalent related work experience required.
2–3 years of management or leadership experience.
Strong leadership and staff-development skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations.
Must meet all applicable state requirements, including background checks and work authorization requirements.

The Operations Director is more than a branch management position. You’ll have the opportunity to build a strong team, grow the business, strengthen community relationships, and directly influence the quality of care provided to patients and families.
If you’re a results-driven leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and taking ownership of business performance, this could be the next step in your career.
As an employer accepting Medicare and Medicaid funds, employees must comply with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.

It all started with a simple idea: How can we help people live better lives by providing better home healthcare? That idea became a company called Aveanna, dedicated to bringing new possibilities and new hope to those we serve.
At Aveanna, we believe that the ultimate place for caring is right in the comfort of home. We are a new company that has quickly established itself as a pre-eminent, national leader in healthcare as well as homecare. We believe in clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care to every patient and family we are privileged to help. By surrounding our patients with superior resources, and by giving our caregivers better technology and training, we are able to provide superior healthcare that makes a difference in what’s possible in outcomes and daily living.
Aveanna’s leadership team has worked for more than 40 years building other great home healthcare companies on a national level. Now that experience is building the healthcare company of the future. Today, Aveanna Healthcare cares for patients and families in 33 states through our rapidly growing network of more than 300 branch offices, offering a variety of care and services to more than 40,000 children and adults.
