ABOUT THE ROLE
A financial services organization is seeking an experienced Trade Support professional to support front-office trading activity and manage key middle-office functions across complex financial products. This role focuses on trade processing, lifecycle events, settlement coordination, issue resolution, and maintaining effective operational controls while partnering closely with traders, sales teams, market risk, and internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter, amend, and maintain trade records within front-office systems to support accurate transaction processing.
Calculate and update performance and financing-related trade details to facilitate settlement.
Process corporate actions, expirations, and other trade lifecycle events.
Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by coordinating with trading desks, internal teams, counterparties, and global business partners.
Partner with Market Risk to research and resolve profit-and-loss breaks.
Provide day-to-day operational support to traders and sales teams, responding to trade-related inquiries and issues.
Monitor trade activity and maintain operational metrics to support oversight and performance tracking.
Review and maintain procedures, ensuring processes remain current and consistently followed.
Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and support reliable service to internal and external stakeholders.
