Operations Client Service Manager

Overview

Our client is looking for a Operations Client Service Manager to manage relationships with existing clients, coordinate and lead the onboarding of new clients, and serve as an important point of contact throughout the client lifecycle. Our client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of the wealth management industry and the technology that underpins it, with the ability to turn client needs into effective use of the platform. A strong fit is someone who is equal parts relationship builder, project manager, and onboarding expert, with the ability to spearhead complex initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver a high level of client service from initial onboarding through ongoing relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with clients, serving as a trusted point of contact and providing a high level of ongoing client service.
• Spearhead and coordinate the onboarding of new clients from initial engagement through implementation and launch, serving as the main internal point of contact throughout the process.
• Facilitate onboarding activities cross-functionally across teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Create and execute project plans to manage onboarding timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and communication.
• Own the client relationship after onboarding, serving as a resource for ongoing questions, issues, and operational needs.
• Troubleshoot client and operational issues to identify solutions and drive issues to resolution.
• Provide consultative guidance on the utilization of the platform, helping clients leverage platform capabilities to support their workflows, improve operational efficiency, and maximize the value of the solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the wealth management industry, preferably with experience in RIA operations, client onboarding, platform implementation, or custodian relationships.
• Demonstrated relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience managing client transitions, onboarding initiatives, or platform implementations.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Consultative mindset with a strong focus on client service, problem-solving, and process execution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and take ownership from initiation through completion.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with large-scale technology or platform implementations preferred
• Experience with Black Diamond, Addepar, Orion, Tamarac, Atlassian products, project management tools, or CRM platforms preferred

Compensation

$90,000-100,000, dependent on experience
