Operations Associate

Piper Companies is seeking an Operations Associate to support an organization in the financial services and insurance industry for a permanent hybrid 3 days a week onsite role based in Durham, NC. The Operations Associate will be responsible for client experience and satisfaction with the organization.

Responsibilities of the Operations Associate:

• Handle communication with clients involving service and claims. Communicate in a respectful and professional manner
• Process service requests for contract withdrawals, surrenders, ownership & Beneficiary changes
• Explain contract benefits and company products to customers
• Be a resource of support for teammates and leadership

Qualifications of the Operations Associate:

• 1-2 years of experience in customer facing roles such as retail or food service
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Psychology, History or relevant major

Compensation for the Operations Associate includes:

Salary range: $20-$23 USD Per hour depending on professional experience
