Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of operations support activities as well as handling clerical, office and administrative functions in conjunction with the general operation of a designated operational unit.

  • Respond to telephone, in-person, or electronic inquiries from both internal and external customers.
  • Receive and distribute all manufactured products and investigate all inventory discrepancies. Enter and maintain the data in various organizational operational and administrative software.
  • Coordinate with logistics on the delivery of patient orders. Run inventory reports and make stocking recommendations and purchase needed supplies and maintain supply levels.
  • Maintain departmental records including payroll, training, customer order information, delivery of tickets, proof of delivery and storage records in physical and electronic formats.
  • Complete daily administrative reviews to include producing a variety of correspondence, overseeing of ordering office supplies, maintaining forms, and other required materials and processing paperwork such as accounts payable forms, purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Work with a team or independently on special projects/committees as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or educational equivalent.

Experience:

  • Two years of experience providing support to a small to medium operational unit, that includes work performing operational duties and not just administrative duties.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications.
  • Knowledge of office management practices and procedures.

Skills:

  • Cultural competency and the ability to communicate effectively in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
  • Attention to detail in composing/proofing all correspondence, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate reliability and strong work ethic.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $26.00p/hr. to $30.00p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
