Position Overview:

 

Are you ready to lead data-driven transformation across enterprise systems and operations? As an Operational Analyst, you'll play a strategic role in improving performance, streamlining processes, and driving organizational change through insights, systems expertise, and cross-functional collaboration. 

In this high-visibility role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders across UES to deliver actionable analytics, optimize workflows, and support the optimization of our ERP (Deltek Vantagepoint) . You'll take ownership of key initiatives—designing dashboards, identifying inefficiencies, advising on best practices, and ensuring system readiness for regional and enterprise-wide projects.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify operational trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities using data analysis.
  • Build and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decisions, tracking key metrics across regional & functional teams.
  • Identify workflow and system inefficiencies; recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Analyze current-state operations and develop future-state solutions based on stakeholder needs and data insights.
  • Assist in planning, estimating, and executing projects related to business transformation and system upgrades.
  • Ensure operational readiness for system changes, including testing and performance tracking.
  • Lead and support training efforts for reporting tools and new systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to derive trends and conduct risk/reward analysis.
  • Understanding of ERP systems preferred; experience with Deltek products a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation and storytelling ability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    This position operates in an in-office work environment

    • On-Site Office Requirements:
      • Work is performed at a desk for extended periods using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment in a climate-controlled office environment.
      • Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required.
      • Physical demands may include sitting for long durations, occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of materials up to 15 pounds.
    Travel Requirements:

    This position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 25% of the time, in support of business objectives
    and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs.
    Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in
    outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required
    during travel and on-site work.
