    River’s Edge is looking for an organized, detail-driven Office Manager to be the go-to person for recruitment, training, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and front desk operations at our community.     What You Bring

    • A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is preferred, along with recruiting/training experience and prior office management or business office experience.
    • Strong computer skills, including comfort with web-based systems and cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, MS Office Suite) and experience running virtual meetings via Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms.
    • Very strong organizational skills is a requirement to be successful in this role.
    • A detail-oriented, accurate approach to work, with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
    • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, sound judgment in maintaining confidentiality, and a team-first mindset.
    • Customer service expertise – treat all people as the customer – internal and external
    • The physical ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, occasionally stand, walk, and assist others (including residents), and lift up to 35 lbs.

    What You'll Be Doing

    People Experience

    • Own the hiring process from posting openings and screening resumes to scheduling interviews, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding for new hires.
    • Manage background checks, I-9 compliance, new hire personnel files, and required paperwork and signatures.
    • Coordinate benefits enrollment, training completion (including Relias modules), and quarterly compliance audits of employee files.
    • Assist to approve hourly timecards and adjustments, support the annual performance appraisal process, and help with disciplinary actions and corrective documentation when needed.
    • Keep employee records current in the HRIS, from promotions and pay changes to status and supervisor updates.
    • Assist visitors, families and residents as needed or route them to the correct people to assist.

    Accounts Payable & Receivable

    • Receive, organize, validate, and route invoices for approval, and follow up with vendors as needed.
    • Submit resident changes (move-ins, move-outs, level-of-care changes, room transfers) to corporate accounting promptly.
    • Process rent collection and deposits via RealPage, and keep resident billing and collection notes accurate and up to date.

    Front Desk & Supervision

    • Oversee front desk and receptionist coverage, including recruiting, hiring, training, and day-to-day performance management.
    • Step in to cover the front desk when needed and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors.

    Reporting & Team Collaboration

    • Prepare monthly reports for the Executive Director on trends like turnover, overtime, and cost changes.
    • Partner closely with the community team and corporate accounting to keep communication and operations running smoothly.
