Work Schedule: Full-time, in-office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m

 

The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority (FDHA) is a quasi-governmental agency committed to meeting the health and wellness needs of Fulton and DeKalb residents. Working in collaboration with Grady Health System, and a cadre of community partners from various sectors. The FDHA is committed to closing the gaps in the health ecosystem and strengthening the continuum of prevention and care services available to residents of Fulton and DeKalb counties. The FDHA is seeking an experienced Office Coordinator.

 

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Authority’s office. The Office Coordinator ensures the workplace is organized, welcoming, well-maintained, and properly supported for employees, visitors, and organizational needs. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, vendors, and general office inquiries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Office Operations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, vendors, and deliveries; direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Manage the reception area to create a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs to the People & Operations Manager.
  • Maintain kitchen and common areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling and preparation, including setup and cleanup.
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms, including equipment, supplies, materials, and refreshments as needed.
  • Coordinate printing, copying, scanning, binding, shipping, and general office reproduction needs.
  • Maintain the overall appearance, organization, and functionality of the office.

 

  • Coordinate building access for vendors and service providers and report office maintenance or facility issues.
  • Maintain keys, access cards, emergency supplies, first aid supplies, and other office safety-related items.

 

Office Support

  • Prepare and set up workspaces for employees, including office materials and supplies.
  • Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and space changes.
  • Prepare routine office documents, packets, forms, labels, spreadsheets, signs, directories, and other materials.
  • Maintain office files, lists, and administrative documents.
  • Coordinate calendars for conference rooms and shared spaces.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related questions and needs.
  • Assist with staff meetings, trainings, team activities, and organizational events.
  • Complete special projects and administrative tasks assigned by the People & Operations Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support efficient office operations.

 

Position Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in office coordination, office administration, reception, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A high degree of professionalism and a friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Prior experience in a quasi-government, nonprofit, healthcare, or community-focused organization is preferred but not required.

 

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000, commensurate with experience.
