Office Assistant

Vintage Wine Company is looking for an office assistant to join our team.  We are a thriving mid size wine distributor located in southeastern Michigan committed to delivering quality wines and providing excellent customer service to all of our customers. Our team takes pride in their collaborative work environment, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We are excited to be expanding our 120 employee company and looking for the right candidates to enhance our growth.

We are seeking an office assistant with sharp office skills, excellent customer service acumen, a background in purchasing, and a motivated, dependable work ethic.  This position offers the opportunity to support our fast paced office while assisting our Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities: 

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Monitor emails and complete requests from sales staff.
• Assist Purchasing Manager in assigned projects.
• Data entry of customer orders.
• Filing.
• Welcome and greet guests to the office.
• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Pay Range:  $19.00 to $20.00

Schedule:  Monday through Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM

Qualifications:

• One to two years of previous office experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Purchasing.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
