Job Description:

Midwest Drywall is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our construction operations team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support, including managing correspondence, coordinating schedules, preparing project documentation, and assisting with billing, purchasing, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills, and be comfortable working with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient project operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and vendors professionally at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Provide general office and warehouse management support such as ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining office cleanliness.
  • Support office and field operations by preparing project documentation and coordination of jobsite errands, supply runs, and drop-offs
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and project timelines
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, answer and direct inquiries efficiently using proper phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry, invoicing and basic accounting support
  • Various other office tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Additional systems including but not limited to Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum, Smart Barrel
  • Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Previous administrative assistant experience preferred
