Occasional additional hours may be required during peak business periods or for special projects.YOUR DAYIn this Office Assistant - Accounts Receivable Specialist role, you will begin your day by processing customer payments and maintaining precise accounts receivable records using NetSuite ERP. Throughout the day, you will answer incoming phone calls, address customer inquiries, and assist with the resolution of billing discrepancies. You will contact customers with outstanding balances, support collection efforts, and facilitate credit application processing and account maintenance. Your responsibilities will also include generating reports, performing data entry, and upholding the accuracy of customer files and administrative records. Collaboration with branch and corporate staff will be essential as you work to resolve account issues and support daily cash application and account reconciliation activities. You will consistently monitor customer accounts within NetSuite to ensure the integrity of our receivables and contribute to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.OFFICE ASSISTANT - ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTSProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and OutlookExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailStrong communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProfessional demeanor and a commitment to confidentialityExperience in administrative, accounting, accounts receivable, banking, or customer service roles is preferred. Experience with ERP/accounting systems is also preferred.
