Position Summary
The University at Buffalo is hiring for Office Assistant 1to perform office support and clerical work to meet the requirements of university programs. The successful candidate will provide support to the Facilities Operations Customer Service Department.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintain manual and electronic records
Handling key requests and issuing keys
Answer questions pertaining to the campus key policy and handle lost keys
Act as a Customer Service Representative to be a single point of contact for University faculty/staff for various types of maintenance requests and assist with the coordination of customer quotes
Draft and sending campus-wide notifications
Generate Work Orders and entering labor and material usage
Run reports as needed
Gather, compile, and prepare data from manual or automated files and other sources for various reports, publications, records, or other external or internal communications
Respond to questions concerning the operation of the unit or program area
Write responses to correspondence
Other duties as assigned
